Sam Keats

Sam completed her accountancy degree at RMIT.  She worked for two years in the dairy industry before spending thirteen years with a large Chartered accounting firm in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.  Sam gained valuable experience in many aspects of accounting including superannuation, audit and business services before specialising in taxation services.  Her areas of expertise include investment properties, small to medium businesses, tradies, consulting, party plan businesses, employee share schemes, medical and teaching professionals, non-profit organisations and employees. Sam’s experience allows her to bring together the skills of a large firm with the dedication and personalised service of a small firm. Sam was awarded a Fellowship of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (FCA) in June 2013. Sam received the Alan Richards Award (2013) for the Winner of the Best Service Category via the Frankston Business Network. She also received the Soar Collective Business Owner (service) Award in 2015.  Keats Accounting was shown to be winner as it identified a point of difference, talked about the contribution of staff, and listened to its client needs.  Sam has worked as a volunteer for a number of non-profit organisations and is also a board member for Dogs for Kids with Disabilities.    In her spare time Sam enjoys being with her husband, kids and pets, reading, wine tasting, and being a weekend Masterchef!

Rebecca Cornish, Accountant

Rebecca Cornish
Accountant (Xero Certified)

Rebecca completed her Business and Commerce degree specialising in Accounting and Banking and Finance at Monash University. She then went on to work for a local Accounting Firm where she gained valuable experience in taxation and audit. After having her first daughter, Rebecca worked for herself subcontracting to local accounting firms, as well as providing bookkeeping services to her clients. Rebecca is currently studying for her CPA with only two subjects remaining. Rebecca enjoys spending time with her husband, son and two daughters; in her spare time she likes to play netball, watch her children play sports and go to the beach. Rebecca can be contacted at


Angela Walker
Assistant Accountant (Xero Certified)

Angela has recently completed a Business and Commerce degree, majoring in Accounting and Human Resource Management at Monash University. Prior to full time study, she worked for 12 years doing bookkeeping and other ‘ad hoc’ administrative duties for a small media company. Angela manages our clients bookkeeping and accounting needs and is proficient in MYOB. In the future, she hopes to commence CA or CPA accreditation. Angela enjoys watching home renovating shows and is renowned for doing her own projects during semester break. Her other hobbies include travel, gardening, dining out and seeing movies. Mary Ma
Graduate Accountant (Xero Certified)

Mary completed her first degree specializing in Accounting and Finance at Monash University. She then worked for a small local company as an Accounts Assistant for one year, after that she went back to school studying for her second degree majoring in Linguistics and EIL (English as an International Language). Mary is currently studying for her CPA with five subjects remaining. In her spare time, she loves reading, watching movies, travelling and learning about new things. Mary volunteers for Life-Gate as a bookkeeper which is a not for profit organization providing ongoing support, practical life-skills training and help to individuals and families in crisis. Megan Dalton
Bookkeeper (Xero Certified, Quickbooks Certified)

Megan previously worked as Bookkeeper/Administration Assistant for tradies over a period of nine years, and for I.T.P. as a Tax Consultant/Administration Assistant over three years. She has completed a Cert IV in Bookkeeping and Accounting through Total Business Services, and has is now studying for her Diploma of Accounting and Diploma in Xero.   She recently also gained her QuickBooks online certification. She volunteers as Treasurer for the Frankston Toy Library and was also the Treasurer for the Carrum Patterson Lakes Senior Football Club. She enjoys spending time with her five daughers, rugby league (Melbourne Storm), netball and V8 supercars. Melanie Thomson
Bookkeeper (Xero Certified)

Melanie joined us in 2014 as a casual bookkeeper.  She has completed her Diploma of Accounting and most recently, her Advanced Diploma of Accounting.  She also has Certificate IV in Accounting, Cert IV in Bookkeeping, Cert IV in Business Administration, and a Certificate in Editing and Proofreading.   Her previous work experience for 18 years was at the Commonwealth Bank.  When Melanie is relaxing in her spare time, she loves to spending time with her family, including her 3 sons, exploring the Mornington Peninsula.  She takes an active interest and roles in her sons’ sporting activities, the Mount Martha Tennis Club, the Mount Martha Cricket Club.  She loves to attend the Bombers games during winter and Cricket at the MCG over the summer.  Melanie can be contacted at

Jane Martin
Receptionist (Xero Certified)

Jane joined Keats Accounting in 2014 in our third administrative position.  Jane is a busy mum looking after four children along with her husband Scott.  She has previous office experience and has been helping Annette & Skye to learn the office systems along with all our recently introduced programs.  Jane can be contacted at

Annette White
Casual Administration (Xero Certified)

Annette began at Keats Accounting in 2011 after working for over 10 years as a Medical Audio Typist. Her previous work history has been in office and administration roles in medical and engineering fields, and for Monash University and the University of Melbourne. She completed a Diploma of Naturopathy in 1997 and practices part time at home. Annette volunteers for Victorian ASD Family Weekends to support and help with advocacy for families living with autism.  Annette has completed her Certificate IV in Business Administration.
